Extending over 11,000 square kilometres, Jasper is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and part of UNESCO's Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site. It is also first Canadian Park I visited in my life and will always remember the overwhelming awe I felt by walking Schaffer loop by Maligne Lake for the first time. Although I spent later much more time exploring Banff and Yoho, Jasper will always have special place in my heart.
