Kananaskis Country is a park system situated to the west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in the foothills and front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Popularized by Gillean Daffern K-country series of hiking guidebooks, it offers year-round recreation opportunities and fantastic scenery.
