Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah - famous for Crimson Colored Hodoo Rock Formations and spectacular Desert Landscape. Bryce Canyon City near Park Entrance is well worth the visit. Accommodations range from expensive lodging to camping. Several well developed hiking trails descend from Canyon Rim while Rim Trail links several car accessible viewpoints. Main Hub is Sunrise - Sunset - Inspiration Point - Bryce Point area and during season parking is very difficult to find. National Park Service operates Bryce Shuttle till October and this alternative is great option.
Several well developed hiking trails descend below Canyon Rim; Fairyland Loop and Queens Garden are recommended, but busiest. Very scenic option is to hike length of Canyon Rim trail 1-way, then simply return via Bryce Shuttle. Park Road (Hwy 63) continues ~16miles to Yovimpa Point with several viewpoints along the way, including short hike to Rainbow Point at Yovimpa.
